Code of Conduct

Would all parents and players please remember that all our managers, coaches and referees are volunteers and are not paid officials. Abuse towards referees, or coaches or managers, will not be tolerated. Players, or their parents or guardians who are abusive towards our volunteers will not be permitted to attend in future so please, enjoy the games and encourage rather than criticise. And remember, if you think you can do a better job, feel free to volunteer!

All players, parents, spectators and managers are expected to comply with this Code of Conduct and failure to do may lead to expulsion from Colliers Wood Little League.

Players
  • Play within the laws of the game
  • No sliding tackles
  • Be punctual
  • Attend training
  • Behave honestly & sportingly
  • Accept Managers' decisions
  • Respect opponents
  • Encourage your team-mates
  • No swearing or spitting
  • No retaliation or fighting
  • Do not belittle opponents
  • Do not argue with Officials
  • Good behavior at all times
  • Accept others' limitations
Parents/Spectators
  • Support, encourage and praise players
  • Give positive feedback
  • Discuss team matters in private
  • Respect opponents and referees
  • Respect Referees' decisions
  • Offer Support
  • No foul, abusive or threatening language
  • No violent behavior
  • No alcohol or drugs while in attendance
  • Do not put undue pressure on players
Managers
  • Support, encourage & praise players
  • Do not play unfit players
  • Set a good example
  • Do not cheat or try to deceive referees
  • Be impartial in making decisions
  • Comply with F.A and League Rules
  • Always provide a safe environment
  • Be organized
  • Accept feedback
  • Take into account different players circumstances and abilities
  • Make playing football enjoyable
  • Take a balanced view when making substitutions. Be fair.
  • Making sure they all play at least half a game.
